Plan your Sphere visit: parking, bags and getting in

Sphere sits just off the Strip behind the Venetian. Here's where to park, what you can bring, which entrance to use and how early to arrive so you're in your seat before the lights go down.

Updated October 18, 2026
The short answerSphere is at 255 Sands Avenue, east of the Venetian. The easiest way in is through the Venetian, which connects to Sphere by pedestrian bridge. Leave your bag behind: Sphere is a no-bag venue, with only small clutches (about 6 x 6 x 2 inches) and medical or diaper bags allowed. Plan to arrive 45 to 60 minutes before showtime.

Getting to Sphere

Through the Venetian (easiest)

Walk through the Venetian or Palazzo to the pedestrian bridge that links the resort to Sphere. You stay indoors or under cover most of the way, which matters in July and in the cold desert nights of winter. It's also the natural route if you're having dinner at the Venetian first.

Rideshare and taxi

Rideshare is popular, but post-show pickups get congested when 17,000 people leave at once. A simple fix: walk back through the Venetian and get picked up at the resort, or wait out the rush over a drink at one of the bars inside.

Walking from nearby hotels

Wynn and Encore are across Sands Avenue (about 15 minutes on foot), and Harrah's and the LINQ are about 15 to 20 minutes. See hotels near Sphere for walk times.

Where to park for Sphere

Sphere has limited on-site parking, so most drivers use a nearby resort garage. Parking prices change by show and season, and the figures below come from a 2023 report, so check current rates before you go.

Big event weekends, especially the Las Vegas Grand Prix in November, change parking and road access around Sphere. Leave extra time.

Sphere bag policy

Sphere is a no-bag venue: large bags and backpacks aren't allowed inside. You can bring a small clutch, purse or fanny pack (about 6 x 6 x 2 inches), plus diaper bags and bags needed for medical items. Everything is screened at the door. If you've got shopping or luggage with you, leave it at your hotel's bell desk or a luggage-storage service before you walk over.

Our take

Phone, card, ID, lip balm, done. Everything else slows you down at security and the coat check you'll wish existed.

How early should you arrive?

  • 45 to 60 minutes before showtime lets you clear security, find your level and grab a drink.
  • The lobby is part of the show at some events. The Wizard of Oz lobby, for example, is themed to Kansas and then the Emerald City.
  • Upper-level seats take longer to reach because the climb is steep.
  • For a 7 or 8 p.m. concert, book dinner for 5 or 5:30 p.m. nearby.

Accessibility

Sphere offers accessibility services, including accessible seating. Request them through the official site or Guest Relations when you buy. Guests who need to bring medical equipment or have other needs can contact Guest Relations at 725-258-6724 before their visit.
