The Wizard of Oz at Sphere
This is the 1939 film rebuilt for a 16K dome. It runs about 75 minutes, against the original's 101, with a re-recorded orchestral score and live 4D effects: wind and fog in the tornado, falling leaves, snow, scent and haptic seats. It opened on August 28, 2025, and by June 2026 had sold more than three million tickets.
Critics loved the tornado and the scale, and were split on the AI-extended imagery used to fill the dome. If you're going for the spectacle, you'll be happy. If you're a purist about the original film, go in knowing it's been re-cut and re-imagined.
Tickets: Listings for October 27 to November 4, 2026 started at roughly $96 to $114 per seat before fees, with afternoon and weekday shows usually cheapest. A VIP experience is also sold on the official site. Read our full guide: Wizard of Oz at Sphere: is it worth it?
Book a 5 p.m. show, then go straight to dinner at the Venetian. You'll be seated by 7, with the whole evening still ahead of you.
Metallica: Life Burns Faster
Metallica's 24-show Sphere residency opened on October 1, 2026, in two-show Thursday/Saturday weekends with no song repeated across the pair. The remaining 2026 dates are October 29 and 31 and November 5 and 7. The band returns for 12 more shows from January 28 to March 13, 2027. On October 27, listings for October 29 started around $432 per seat and October 31 around $560, with a two-night pass from about $695. Read our full guide: Metallica at Sphere: dates, tickets and seats.
Going to both nights? A hotel near the Strip's center keeps you a walk away both evenings.
Eagles at Sphere
The Eagles began at Sphere in September 2024 and have kept adding dates. Their run, the venue's longest, continues November 13, 14, 27 and 28 and December 4, 5, 11 and 12, 2026, then January 8, 9, 15, 16, 22 and 23, 2027 (January 8 and 9 were added in October 2026). Thanksgiving weekend shows (November 27 and 28) sell fastest, so book early if you're making a holiday trip of it.
F1 Afterparty featuring Backstreet Boys
On Saturday, November 21, 2026, after the Las Vegas Grand Prix, Sphere hosts the race's first official afterparty with the Backstreet Boys. Access is sold through race ticket packages and add-ons on the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix site, not as standard Sphere tickets. Race weekend is the busiest weekend of the season for hotels and clubs. If you want a table after, request it early.
Backstreet Boys: Into the Millennium
The Backstreet Boys bring their Into the Millennium Sphere show back for the holidays: December 26, 27, 29 and 31, 2026, and January 1 and 2, 2027. The December 29 date was added on October 19, 2026, with general on-sale on October 23. New Year's Eve in Las Vegas books up fast, so lock in your hotel and any after-party plans early.
Oprah Winfrey's Aha
Oprah brings a two-hour live show to Sphere on April 2, 3 and 4, 2027. It mixes music and storytelling with special guests, using the dome's screens, light and sound. It's a weekend-only engagement, so expect demand to be high.
John Mayer: Live at Sphere
John Mayer plays April 8, 10, 11, 15, 17 and 18, 2027, with tickets from $129 at the October 2026 on-sale. Three more dates (June 9, 11 and 12) were added in mid-October 2026.
Carín León
Carín León became the first Latin artist to headline Sphere in September 2026. One of those shows was postponed on the night because of what the venue called transportation issues, and moved to September 15, 2027; original tickets stay valid. He also plays September 16, 17 and 18, 2027, timed to Mexican Independence Day celebrations in Las Vegas.
Turn the show into the whole night
Shows at Sphere usually finish between 10 and 11 p.m. That's prime time for TAO at the Venetian or XS at Wynn. Tell Luna's hosts your date and group, and they'll come back with real table options.
